With some free time coming around in the next few weeks, I thought I'd list out all the chess movies I know of. As I watch them, I'll update this post with a link to my review of the movie.

The Chess Players (Shatranj Ke Khilari) (need to find a copy of this somewhere)
Bobby Fischer Against the World is a great film.. I bought and watched it last Xmas, and may watch it a gain over the holidays : a good reminder.
ReplyDeleteI missed the Computer Chess film. I was shown at a film festival, but I found out just a little too late to catch it. Had good reviews over here though.
I don't know queen to play or checkmate...
The Chess Players is a wonderful film.. It reviewed on the Kenilworthian blog, which also indicates its available via Amazon ( to buy & instant video )
